For the eighth consecutive year, the BVL held the Good Corporate Governance Contest recognizing those companies that stood out in terms of corporate governance, through the process of IBGC, an indicator that was created in 2008 for investors to have an additional tool in the making of their decisions.
From 2015 came into force the new Code of Good Corporate Governance for Peruvian Companies, in which the new Validation parameters were applied which helped to strengthen and improve the process of validation.
In 2015, 25 companies participated, 9 of which became part of the portfolio of the S & P / BVL IBGC Index and 12 were recognized for their good corporate practices. The "Key of the BVL" was awarded to BBVA BANCO CONTINENTAL as a symbol of recognition and trust for having obtained the highest score in Good Corporate Governance Principles taking into account liquidity factors and for being part of the top 5 of La Voz del Mercado.
For the second consecutive year and in strategic alliance with EY, the survey "La Voz del Mercado" was performed, recognizing CREDICORP as the winner and AFP INTEGRA as top mover to get the highest growth in the score.
The board of the BVL unanimously agreed for the first time in the history of the BVL, publicly recognize this anniversary, considering that Gestión was the first Peruvian daily journal specialized in economics and business, always reporting with professionalism and objectivity what happened in the business sector and especially in the capital market, becoming also, over these years, the benchmark journal for the country in economic and financial matters.

In early November, the Lima Stock Exchange presented the first edition of the most important financial development forum of the region, Peru Financial and Investment Day "Building the Capital Markets of Tomorrow". The main objective of this forum, organized as a response of the different actors of the Peruvian financial market, was to define an agenda of concrete work to allow develop and maintain our stock market emergent; as well as attracting new sources of funding and new opportunities so as to serve as a contribution to the development, strengthening and growth of the entire system.
This important event addressed issues of primary interest to the market, seeking to be a benchmark for the quality of its exhibitors and attendees. It featured presentations of important opinion leaders, the most prominent speakers and panelists with broad global experience; also, leading representatives of financial institutions in the local market were present.
