César Alberto Luyo Luyo

Economist from UNFV and Public Administrator (ONRAP). Professor at Universidad Federico Villareal, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and Universidad de Lima until 1979. 

In 1962 and 1979, he worked in Unión de Cervecerías Peruanas Backus and Johnston as Economist and worked in the areas of Production, Management, Market and Audit of the Board of Directors. He participated as an Economist in pre and feasibility assessments and implementation of Cerveceria San Juan and del Norte, Industrial Cacer, Transporte 77, Backus Trading, among others. He was Director of Projects and Pre and Feasibility Profiles for Consultores Andinos conducting assessments between 1974 and 1979 on chemical, rubber, glass, textile industries, etc. He has also developed assessments for COFIDE; from 1970 - 1974 he participated in regional projects (Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Mexico) for the international firm Adela Investment Company. He has been Director of the Lima Stock Exchange alternately in several occasions since 1981 to date; and he was Director of CAVALI for the third time in April 2004. Previously, he was Vice Chairman of CAVALI during the period 1997 - 2001. He has been advisor, consultant and company director since 1970 to date; also, he has been Chairman of the Association of Brokerage Firms since 1999 to date and member of the First Consultative Council CONASEV (now SMV). In addition, he was a member of the First Council of Good Corporate Governance of the Capital Market Institute. He has been working as a stockbroker since 1978. He is founder of Investment and Development - Stockbroker Society, established in 1992 and currently CEO thereof.
