Pedro Grados Smith

Master in Banking and Finance major in Economy, Universidad de Lima; also, he has a specialization in Accounting and Finance from ESAN.

In addition, he has Doctoral studies in International Business Administration, Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña de Barcelona -Spain. He is Professor of Economics and Finance at Universidad de Piura and Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC); also, he is a speaker on Investment and Finance issues, in Peru and abroad. He has written numerous articles on Capital Market and the Peruvian economy for various newspapers and national magazines. He is also author of a book on the Capital Market. He is currently Vice President of Wealth and Pensions in Scotiabank and previously CEO at Profuturo AFP, Peruvian private pension administrator of Scotiabank group. Prior to Profuturo, and for more than 30 years, he has developed an extensive career in the areas of Investment, Finance and Consulting. He has also worked as a consultant in organizations such as the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank and USAID; and held executive positions in the Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS), Banco Santander Central Hispano, Santander Investment and the Lima Stock Exchange.
