Legal Ownership Limit

In accordance with the provisions of Article 137 of the Securities Market Act, no person by itself or its related parties may directly or indirectly own shares issued by a stock exchange representing more than ten percent (10%) of the capital stock with the right to vote, nor exercise the right to vote for more than the said percentage.

This restriction does not apply in cases of corporate integration between stock exchanges or between stock exchanges and securities clearing and settlement institutions authorized by the SMV, provided that the requirements established in the Securities Market Act are verified.
